Debbie Lan is an award-winning singer-songwriter, musician, choral director and vocal arranger. Originally from South Africa, Debbie has lived in the Hudson Valley for the last 30 years. 

From performing live to studio work, from teaching to facilitating drop-in community singing experiences, Debbie’s passions lie in helping people find their own unique voice, directing community voice ensembles, and arranging lush vocal harmonies for her groups.

Currently Debbie directs and arranges for Bloom, a woman’s voice ensemble (and Cliff) in its 18th season, The B2s, Perennial and 

The Resisterhood Community Choir.

Debbie also directs SongClub, a drop in community experience that builds community through singing original arrangements of familiar songs in a safe and welcoming space.
